Enroll your junior golfer in our junior golf program. We are excited to have Liz Meschke Larson back again as our instructor this year . Liz is a 2000 graduate ofPequot Lakes and received a scholarship to play golf at the University of Montana. Liz and her husband and son are back in the Pequot Lakes area and Liz is excited to teach a new generation of kids about the great game of golf.
JUNIOR COMMUNITY ED LESSONS:
Due to Liz expecting a baby in may, we will not be having our community ed lessons this year.
SUMMER JUNIOR GOLF LESSONS
We will be having an 8-week session running Tuesdays from June 10th through August 5th (no lessons July 1st. The cost will be $75 for the 8 week session. And new this year we are having an intermediate junior class on Thursdays at 5:00pm for experienced junior golfers who would like to take their game to the next level. We realize in the summer everybody cannot make every lesson, but we cannot give refunds for missed lessons. However, you will receive 2 mini golf passes if you need to miss a lesson for some reason. There is a limited number of spaces available in these classes, so sign up early.
Junior Lessons (all abilities)
Tuesdays, June 10th thru Aug 5th at 9:00 am (ages 6-10 years old)
Tuesdays, June 10th thru Aug 5th at 10:00 am (ages 10 and up)
Advanced Juniors Lessons:
Thursdays, June 12th thru Aug 7th at 5:00 pm (experienced golfers ages 10 and up)
NEW! ADVANCED JUNIOR LESSONS
Due to demand, we will be offering an 8-week session of lessons for juniors 10 and up who have played alot of golf and are ready to put in the time and practice to move their game to the next level. All aspects of the golf game will be worked on. Space will be limited in this class. The kids may go play after lessons to work on what they learned after lessons. $75 for 8 weeks of lessons. They will be held Thursdays at 5pm. (We must have at least 6 sign up to hold class, and will be limited to 10, so sign up early).
JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE
Our junior golf league will be on Tuesdays at 11:00. Kids participating in the league must be able to play on their own, know the basic rules and etiquette of golf, or they must bring a parent along to help them out, and must keep up with the pace of play or let others play thru. Parents are welcome to walk along with any of the kids. We will have fun games and events each week. You may do the league even if you don’t do the lessons. Cost for the junior leagues will be $7 per week. You may want to consider purchasing a membership for your family or your child. Junior memberships are just $99 for the season (or $69 if purchased as part of a family membership). Each child participating in the league or playing the course without a parent will need to complete a simple rules & etiquette test.
