New Theme - Minnesota Treasure Hunt

The amazing maze is over 10,000 square feet of corners, pathways and dead-ends that add up to more than 1/3 mile of paths! You'll be lost for a bit, laughing a lot and loving it! There is nothing like it in the whole midwest!
You'll love this new attraction. Find the Minnesota Treasures! See how good your sense of direction really is. Time yourself against your friends or your kids, or try it again and see if you can beat your time. Admission allows you to try it twice.
Parents, it's a great way to burn energy, both you and the kids! Or hang out on our relaxing observation deck and relax while the kids are running around. You can give them directions from up there also. Better yet, try it yourself and see if you can beat your kids. (My money is on the kids!)

Interesting Statistics about the maze:
The maze is over 10,000 square feet
450+ wooden panels make it up
500+ wooden 4x4 posts
250+ gallons of stain were put on the maze
Over 1/3 mile of pathways if you hit them all
Most of the wood for the maze and our clubhouse was from the owners grandma's property in Crosslake after a big storm knocked down giant red pine trees that were 100+ years old. We couldn't stand to see them go to waste, so got them milled into lumber and used it to build our clubhouse and maze and other things.
We got the idea for building a maze when we went to the International Attractions convention in Las Vegas last winter. Out of the thousands of ideas there, this was the one we thought would work well with our other attractions, but instead of hiring someone there, we decided to do some research and build it ourselves (how hard could that be, right...?). We even flew out to Myrtle Beach in March to look at one there and see how they operated and how it was built.
